A company called Me4Kids (www.me4kids.com), has changed the way we care for these little wounds. This mom designed and owned, child-centered (and Christian based as seen through their website) ingenious idea is helping wounds heal a little faster. The large Medi-Bag is a top Sweet Pea recommendation for every home with children. It’s fun design helps kids to relax and allow for the caregiver to mend their wounds. While the bag is made to please little eyes, it is safely designed so that those little fingers can’t get into it. Filled with crayon shaped band aids, a pint sized ice pack, smily stickers for bravery and all the other medical necessities; this bag is made to please and heal. Our favorite aspect of the kit however, were the latex free band aids. Latex is quickly becoming a common allergen, but all store brand “kid” band aids contain latex. Until you know whether or not your child has an allergy to latex, we recommend that you avoid it. Me4Kids has you covered. The kit can be found at Target and other major retailers.
